Job Description – Vision Care Territory Manager, Toronto North (North York to Parry Sound/ Huntsville)

The Bausch + Lomb Vision Care Team promotes a collaborative team culture that has driven year-over-year growth through market-disrupting programs and the launch of 7 innovative products within the past 6 years. Later this year, Bausch + Lomb Canada will launch the silicone hydrogel daily disposable ULTRA® ONE DAY For Astigmatism Contact Lens, which is a breakthrough technology.

 

Summary

  • Responsible for selling Bausch + Lomb’s contact lens portfolio within a designated area to Optometry Practices and Opticals.
  • Day-to-day focus is on territory sales targets, new business development, product education, support, and training for existing and new customers.
  • May have special markets/complex product lines assigned that require significant client relationship skills.
  • Organizes own work routine, but guidance is provided by the Regional Sales Manager and the Marketing Department.

    • engages customers in needs-based selling discussions that position our products as a solution to established or identified customer needs
    • leverages the clinical\ business\social needs of the customer to drive adoption of our products and build long-term loyalty
    • treats everyone in the office as a customer (front office staff, Opticians, office manager, etc.)
    • has the situational awareness to read the environment in an office\clinic and adapt their approach based on the circumstances

    • Leverages doctor-level data and knowledge of the customer to individualize their selling approach
    • knows how to work the territory effectively to achieve the right call frequency on key eye care practitioners
    • understands how to work the doctor’s office \ clinic to optimize access to key decision makers and use of selling time

Education/Competencies requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business or Sciences.
  • Experience: 2- 4 years of proven medical device sales experience is an asset.

For Canada locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $75,000.00 and $100,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors
