The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for exceeding sales growth targets at assigned customers.  The SAM will work to build and execute business plans in order to drive sales and launch innovation with excellence.  They will make sure activities align with the organization’s overall business objectives.  All of this while effectively managing coop funding and staying within Budget.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serving as point person to develop and facilitate relationships with all appropriate customer personnel to ensure effective account service and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilizing business management, analytical and consultative skills to attain key business unit objectives; this includes sales volume quota, customer defined service level metrics, category management initiatives, ACV retail distribution, regional strategies, promotional program coordination, productivity and ROI.
  • Working with Customer Marketing and Category Management to analyze, develop and implement business plans.
  • Managing execution of strategy, programs, logistics, processes or tactics that contribute to the achievement of functional goals.
  • Ensure attainment of business unit objectives including; forecasting, establishing objectives, evaluating performance against objectives and communicating feedback to managing director.

 

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of successful Consumer Health sales experience. (Beauty or Healthcare preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to make quick/calculated decisions, and ability to perform effectively in a team and individual work environment are a must.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities to meet goals.
  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • PC competency required, including but limited to IRI, Peoplesoft, and Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

As required by Colorado’s Salary Transparency Law, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in Colorado.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For Colorado, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $ 100,000 - $ 120,000

 

As required by New York City’s salary transparency provisions of the New York City Human Rights Law, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York City.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For New York City, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $ 100,000 - $ 120,000
