Overview

The Senior Manager, Retail Media and Commerce Activation will lead retail media strategy and execution across key commerce platforms and retail media networks, helping drive growth for some of Bausch + Lomb's most recognized consumer brands. This role is responsible for developing the retail media roadmap, managing significant media investments, leading agency partners, driving performance measurement, and identifying new growth opportunities across the digital commerce ecosystem.

You'll work at the intersection of marketing, sales, analytics, and emerging AI technologies, playing a key role in accelerating growth and innovation across our Consumer business.

 

The ideal candidate combines deep retail media expertise, strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and a passion for innovation to deliver measurable business results.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retail media strategies supporting growth objectives for LUMIFY®, PreserVision®, Blink®, Biotrue®, and other Consumer brands.
  • Lead media planning, optimization, and measurement across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, KPM, Instacart, Criteo & Sams Advertising Group, TikTok Shop, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage agency partners and hold them accountable through clear KPIs, business reviews, budget stewardship, and performance management.
  • Drive full-funnel media strategies across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, paid search, video, social commerce, and off-site media.
  • Establish monthly performance reporting focused on ROAS, new to brand, incrementality, customer acquisition, share of voice, search rank, and category growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Digital Commerce teams.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools including OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, predictive analytics, and automation platforms to improve planning, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Identify emerging retail media trends, new ad types and measurement capabilities – work with agency partners to plan for and test new opportunities
  • Participate in a cross-channel experimentation practice to systematically improve marketing effectiveness and drive incremental sales.
  • Identify emerging retail media trends and develop test-and-learn initiatives that create competitive advantage.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Retail Media, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Performance Marketing, or Commerce Media.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Advertising and retail media platforms.
  • Proven success managing multimillion-dollar media budgets and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading media agencies and external partners.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in performance measurement, optimization, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional priorities, and drive execution in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.

Preferred:

  • Consumer Packaged Goods, Consumer Healthcare, or Health & Wellness experience.
  • Expertise across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and Target Roundel.
  • Experience with Amazon DSP, programmatic advertising, and advanced attribution models.
  • Lead and manage agency partners – both direct agency and coordinating across, establishing clear strategic direction, performance expectations, KPIs, and operating rhythms
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered marketing and analytics solutions

 

Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work schedule allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office. While hybrid work is preferred, we are open to considering remote candidates who can accommodate periodic onsite presence or travel based on business requirements.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $175,000.00 and $205,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
