The Operations Excellence Execution Lead serves as a hands-on execution leader and problem solver, working directly with manufacturing sites diagnosing constraints, implementing OpEx levers, and using data to drive daily decisions and sustained performance improvements.
Reporting to Executive Director of Operations, the successful candidate will be able to build trust and credibility with site leadership and influence adoption of new routines by the site teams. Success measures will include improving speed from diagnosis to sustained impact, throughput, OEE and capacity improvements as well as a reduction in execution variability.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostics and Problem Solving
- Conduct rapid diagnostics on throughput, flow, scheduling, losses, and constraints
- Validate baselines using operational data and direct observation
- Identify root causes of chronic line and site performance issues
- Pressure-test assumptions with data and real-time observation
Shop Floor Execution
- Lead hands-on deployment of OpEx levers (SMED, centerlining, bottleneck management, campaign optimization)
- Work alongside operators, engineers, and supervisors to implement and stabilize solutions
- Support daily management routines, tier meetings, and problem-solving cadence
- Remain on site until improvements are sustained
Execution Analytics and Decision Support
- Build analytical views of OEE, throughput, scheduling, inventory, and capacity
- Run scenario analysis to support sequencing and trade-off decisions
- Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for operators and leaders
- Support finite scheduling and materials right-sizing decisions
Value Tracking & Leakage Prevention
- Track performance vs plan during execution sprints
- Identify early signs of reversion or value leakage
- Support Finance in validating realized benefits
- Enable transparency and accountability through facts
Scaling and Capability Building
- Document and codify successful solutions
- Support replication of proven practices across sites
- Coach site teams in execution discipline and problem-solving
- Leave behind stronger routines, not dependency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, operational excellence, industrial engineering, or operations consulting.
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements in throughput, OEE, capacity, execution consistency, and operational performance through hands-on problem solving, data-driven decision making, and deployment of operational excellence methodologies.
- Proven track record implementing and sustaining operational excellence initiatives such as SMED, bottleneck management, centerlining, daily management systems, and structured problem solving.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience using operational data to improve OEE, throughput, inventory, capacity utilization, and execution consistency; advanced Excel required, Power BI, SQL, or Python preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence site leadership and frontline teams, drive adoption of new ways of working, and sustain improvements through effective change management.
- Experience tracking and validating operational benefits, identifying value leakage, and driving accountability for results.
- Ability to travel up to 75% domestically

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $135,000 and $165,000. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
