Purpose of Job:

Supervise inventory analysts and ensure efficient and accurate inventory control processes, optimize stock levels, and support the overall supply chain operations while maintaining Sarbanes-0xley compliance. Leads Inventory Control for Bausch & Lomb (B+L) distribution center in Woodruff, SC for Consumer products and oversight of the B+L pharmaceutical business unit activity at a 3PL.

Key Activities:

Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels for Consumer and Pharmaceutical products. Ensure daily inventory operations, including cycle counts, audits, adjustments and reconciliations. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organizations policies, procedures, regulatory guidance, and laws. Adherence of the B+L Inventory Management Policy is critical to this role. Performs related duties as assigned.

Process Improvement: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Works cross-functionally to support smooth warehouse operations

Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Reviews data generated for distribution or freight activity in US. Performs statistical analysis to determine best practices for transportation lanes or distribution activity.

Reporting: Generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year- end inventory close procedures and reporting. Compiles data from PeopleSoft, Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP and other systems to make one master dataset for periodic reporting. Create distribution and freight summaries for sites, carriers, and freight forwarders by various relevant components in periodic metrics.

Team Leadership: Supervise and train inventory control staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Supports Distribution Center Site Lead, Logistics Sr. Manager, and Sr. Director, North America Logistics with various distribution or transportation projects.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Reviews shipping labels for GSl and B+L distribution compliance. Directly handles audit or other requests with PwC, EV, or other agencies that work with B+l to ensure compliance. Complies with internal controls and safety standards.

Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Logistics teams to align inventory levels with business needs. Coordinate all destructions and donations for the Consumer and Pharmaceutical finished goods items stored at the applicable distribution center.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve inventory-related issues promptly and effectively. Responsible to troubleshoot and resolve all variances reported at the 3PL distribution centers. Supports other sites to investigate inventory management concerns or errors.

System Variances: Directly fix system variances in PeopleSoft, JOA, and/or Blue Yonder. Connect with Information Technology (IT) support for any system issues that require higher access or additional expertise.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skllls: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management software.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Communication: Excellent, professional communications skills to build and maintain positive partner relationships with internal Sales, QA, IT, Supply Chain, and management teams.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Technical Expertise: Data management experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP} system such as PeopleSoft or SAP is required. Data entry and inventory control functions with use of warehouse management systems such as Blue Yonder (JDA) is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft SQL. Experience with Power Bl.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry, with 1+ year in supervisory role.

Comparable supply chain experience and familiarization with health care industry
