Purpose of Job:

This position is a dedicated aseptic process-engineering resource for solutions manufacturing. Specific job performance objectives target training, quality, compliance/aseptic risk reduction and manufacturing process improvements.

 

Key Activities:

  • Liaison between maintenance, engineering, quality and operations.
  • Lead root cause investigations in EM/PM excursions and other Aseptic issues.
  • Independently uses modern data analysis tools process excellence (PE) to complete root cause analyses, identify corrective actions, and implements these actions into on-going production.
  • Steward of aseptic skills/techniques and improvements and perform training with site employee's.
  • Provides process-engineering support for on-going Solutions operations to drive continuous improvements in quality, unit cost, and process efficiency.
  • Understands and uses LEAN manufacturing techniques to drive process improvements.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and recommends opportunities to reduce compliance and aseptic risk.
  • Provides technical direction and support as needed for all aseptic activities.
  • Skilled at supporting continuously operational processes on a 7x24 basis.

 

Education: 

  • 4-year science/technical degree required. Preferably in microbiology, or chemical engineering.

 

Experience:

  • 4 years' experience in process engineering demonstrating a progression of skills in data analysis and project scope. 
  • Engineering experience in an aseptic manufacturing facility strongly preferred.
  • Must have experience supporting a 7x24 operation.
  • Process validation experience preferred. 
  • A documented history of ongoing professional development desired.
  • cGMP training required.
  • Must have experience working in a controlled environment.
