Maintenance Technician II - Electronics 3rd Shift | Monday – Friday (10:00pm – 6:30am)
Purpose of Job:
Primary responsibilities will be the programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, Servo Drives, AC Drives, Interface Modules, and DC Drives. Also included are mechanical skills that will allow for the assistance in mechanical repairs and preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
Key Activities:
Program and trouble shoot Controls Systems including supporting Project Engineering in new equipment installations. Perform electrical & mechanical PMs
Scope of Position
Primary responsibilities will be the programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, Servo Drives, AC Drives, Interface Modules, and DC Drives. Also included are mechanical skills that will allow for the assistance in mechanical repairs and preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
Demonstrates ability to lead projects and/or work groups. Demonstrates ability to make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools. Must be able to multi-task. Previous Lean Mfg. experience preferred. Must be able to coordinate projects and communicate results. Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment. Must be a self-starter – work with minimal supervision.
Computer skills: Working knowledge of MP2, window-based programs.
Qualification:
Education: Associates Degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School Diploma/ GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Control Systems with mechanical background required.
Preferred: CMMS (MP2 preferred) Programmable Logic Controllers (GE & Allen Bradley), Servo Controls, AC Drives.
