Objectives | Purpose: The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and compliance of

the aseptic area, including walls, floors, equipment, and other facility components, in a pharmaceutical manufacting site. This role

ensures that all maintenance activities align with regulary and safety standards to support a controlled and sterile environment. 

 

Key Activities/Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician II will:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold the integrity of the aseptic area. 
  • Perform repairs and upkeep of facility infrastructure, including walls, floors, ceilings, and critical equipment. 
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs within aseptic environments. 
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and validation of facility systems and equipment in sterile areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to support regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure maintenance procedures do not compromise sterility.
  • Follow strict cleaning and decontamination protocols when performing maintenance in aseptic areas.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support facility updates and continuous improvement projects related to aseptci operations. 

 

Qualifications | Training:

Education: Associate's Degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School Diploma/GED required. 

 

Experience: Minimum of 10 years critical utilities experience. 

 

Special Skills: Daily monitoring of facilities, utilities and critical equipment conditions. 

 

Preferred Skills: CMMS (MP2 preferred)

 

1st shift | Monday - Friday  (7:00am – 3:30pm)
