Objectives:
The Medical Device Maintenance of Business (MOB) Project Leader is responsible for managing MOB business critical projects aligned with the Greenville and Milan Lens Care Solution Manufacturing site priorities.

 

Responsiblities:
1.  Interface with Greenville and Milan Operations, Rochester R&D, Global Quality and Global Regulatory to plan and execute MOB projects in support of Lens Care Solution manufacturing.  
2.  Develop project strategies, resource plans, and schedules to support project execution.
3.  Ensure project plans and timelines are in place for all planned activities including a detailed project charter/scope, risk assessment, and milestone schedule.
4.  Lead individual MOB projects within the project portfolio.
5.  Responsible for initiating and managing Quality Change Requests (QCRs) to completion and ensure project documentation is complete and approved per procedures.
6.  Lead global cross-function teams for both development and manufacturing activities.
7.  Responsible for communication across manufacturing sites, R&D, regulatory, quality and external suppliers, plus project updates at monthly Global MOB reviews. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated project management, process improvement, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing practices and processes.
  • Technical experience within a FDA regulated industry.
  • Significant change management experience. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree
  • Strong teamwork and negotiation skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods, material characterization, plastics molding knowledge, and 6-sigma skills.
  • An ability to analyze and manage technical issues across multiple technical disciplines and ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of delivering to objectives.

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $86,000 - $130,000
