Position Objectives
A Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (Sr. CRC) is a specialized medical research professional working with and under the supervision of the Director, Clinical Research and the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). While the PI is primarily responsible for the overall design, conduct, and management of the clinical trial, the Sr. CRC supports, facilitates, and coordinates the daily clinical trial activities and plays a critical role in the conduct of the study.
Responsibilities
The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator:
- Manages, coordinates, and implements clinical studies that are of a small size and minimal complexity with minimal supervision.
- Maintains all study documentation according to standard operating procedures.
- Carries out study duties from protocol initiation to study close-out.
- Adheres to regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Works closely with study team members.
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or new problems.
- Completes study-related and other administrative tasks.
- Complies with Good Clinical Practice and the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Keeps current with all federal, state, sponsor and site policies and laws, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.
- Demonstrates accountability for continuous learning in accordance with GCP guidelines.
- Keeps current with industry standards, best practices and trends in areas relevant to research studies and designs.
Qualifications:
At minimum, candidates should have an associate’s degree and/or 3-5 years of related industry experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a scientific, health related, or business administration program, preferred.

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting hourly pay for this role is $28.00 - $34.00 per hour.
