Job Summary:  Perform technical and supporting activities for Medical Device product manufacture in the Solutions Process Development Pilot Laboratory.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include:

  • Cleaning and use of equipment.
  • Preparation of equipment and/or weighing of raw materials.
  • Compounding and filling of sterile and/or non-sterile product {Test, Development, Stability or Clinical).
  • Packaging and labeling of products (Test, Development, Stability or Clinical).
  • Use of appropriate documentation / systems to support assigned activities.
  • Provides input for making documentation changes.
  • Operation and sampling of facility utilities (Clean Steam, Compressed Air and/or Hot Purified Water).
  • Perform Sanitization and Environmental Monitoring of the Aseptic Processing Area (APA).
  • Support validation activities.
  • Maintains a safe and compliant work environment by following standards, procedures, and company requirements.
  • Maintains on the job knowledge and skills by participating in applicable training.
  • Experience working in a GMP laboratory/ facility environment. Knowledge of general GMPs, as well as good documentation practices.
  • Good organization skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work effectively on teams.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or the equivalent through specialized training with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

 

 

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For New York State, the range of starting hourly pay for this role is $18.07 - $28.52 per hour.
