Position overview:
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) will oversee External Manufacturers/Raw Material Suppliers.  The SCM will be responsible for managing relationships with external partners, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production of goods in alignment with company goals. This role requires strong collaboration, monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), cost assessment analysis, and proactive issue resolution to meet production targets and supply chain objectives, growing into subject matter expert.
 

Key responsiblities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and external manufacturers to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely production, and on-time delivery of products.
  • Monitor and manage the capacity and production schedules of external manufacturers, aligning them with the company’s demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, quality control, etc.) to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products.
  • Lead cross functional internal/external to drive resolutions on issues impacting product supply
  • Track KPIs for external manufacturers, including production timelines, efficiency, and on-time delivery rates, consumption of B+L supplied material.
  • Continuously evaluate and monitor the performance of external manufacturers, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Implement corrective actions for any performance issues, such as production delays, quality concerns, or inefficiencies.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, including issues with external manufacturing partners, logistics delays, or changes in market conditions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, solid understanding of MRP and S&OP process, with experience managing external manufacturers. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Manugistics, Peoplesoft, SAP, and Power BI. Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel advanced level, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).

The starting pay for this role is between $101,000.00 and  $154,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.


U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
