Position summary:
The Manager, EHS+S Compliance/Analytics/Audit/IH will partner with all business groups and regions in the ongoing development and management of policies, procedures and practices for a multitude of EHS+S/ESG disciplinary responsibilities. Identify, advise, implement, and manage analytical and reporting tools to create a continuous compliance improvement process in all of our EHS+S/ESG disciplines.    Lead the Industrial Hygiene program elements to focus on our transformation to a more automated work environment.

 

Key responsibilities:
Cority System Administration: Understand EHSS and ESG business needs and develop tools to capture and report data.
Troubleshooting: Address all issues and errors and coordinate resolutions with Cority, including layout changes, business rules, display rules, and new user onboarding.
User Training: Develop and initiate Cority user training materials.
Interface Support: Understand and support all Cority interfaces, including HR demographics and work hours, and support equipment interfaces to directly load data into Cority.
Data Privacy: Maintain data privacy requirements, including Cority user permissions and security level management.
Reporting: Create Cority reports and dashboards to support corporate, business unit, and site goals. This requires understanding and management of Query Builder, DataCube, and Microsoft Power BI.
Cority Data Management: Manage imports and exports of data directly into Cority by developing import processes. Develop export processes where data needs to be transferred to another system.
Cority Software Testing: Manage Cority New Release Testing at least three times annually to apply new releases with updated features. Work with the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team to complete testing.
Corporate Global EHS+S Compliance Audit program: Manage the Compliance Audit program to enable insight to every global manufacturing and logistics center, with a constant eye towards improving and reducing EHS+S risks.
Regulatory Compliance: Manage all aspects of compliance programs for various regulations and standards, including California Proposition 65, Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), Registration Evaluation Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), EHS+S/ESG horizon regulations preparation and others.
Program Management: Manage various programs including Compliance and Industrial Hygiene (IH) programs, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) program, including authoring, management, HazMat Transportation, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and the Ergonomics program. 

 

Qualifications and experience:
•  BS in Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability Management or related field.  MS degree prefered.
•  Minimum of 8 years in broad-based EHS+S/ ESG experience including managing EHS+S/ESG at the business unit or corporate level for multiple locations.  

•  International experience preferred.  Knowledge of Global EHS+S/ESG regulations required and ability to relate regulations to our business.  
•  Outstanding verbal, presentation, written communication, and teamwork skills are needed.
•  Strong people skills and an ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and leaders, build rapport across functional boundaries as well as people of diverse backgrounds.
•  EHSS information management system, preference for Cority, experience
•  Experience in data management and reporting
•  Understanding of various EHS+S and ESG compliance programs and regulations
•  Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $103,000 - $158,000.
