Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday; 8:00 am- 4:30 pm with an on-call rotation.

 

Position Summary

 

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a motivated HVAC Associate II to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of commercial and industrial HVAC systems that support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is required, and experience with pharmaceutical water purification systems is highly desirable.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair air handling units, exhaust systems, chillers, pumps, boilers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure reliable environmental control.
  • Respond to equipment alarms and resolve HVAC-related issues affecting manufacturing operations.
  • Perform system inspections and document maintenance activities using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Support environmental conditions required for GMP manufacturing.
  • Work safely while following all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in after-hours or emergency call-in support as required.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
  • Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Experience reading mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or GED.

 

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or other regulated industrial environments.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical water purification systems (RO, DI, WFI, or related systems) is a strong plus.
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
  • Experience with pneumatic and DDC controls.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software.
  • Technical degree in HVAC, Mechanical Technology, or related field.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $27 - $37 per hour.  The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
