Overview

We are looking for an innovative and highly motivated Senior Web Ops and AI Digital Manager to lead web operations and digital initiatives for our ophthalmology brands. Reporting to the Marketing Hub Lead, you will oversee the performance and optimization of brand websites and digital experiences, using latest GenAI tools to accelerate execution, monitor performance, and enhance quality. You will drive ongoing improvements across content, user experience, technical operations, and SEO/GEO to strengthen relevance and engagement.

 

Working closely with brand marketing, AI content teams, media, IT/WebDev, Veeva, and agency partners, you will apply strong project‑management and cross‑functional coordination skills to keep workstreams aligned and moving efficiently. In this role, you will ensure all digital experiences are high quality, compliant, and fully aligned with omnichannel brand goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Web Operations and Digital Production

  • Leads the daily operation and ongoing optimization of brand websites, including content updates, UX enhancements, personalization features, and technical maintenance.
  • Lead SEO/GEO strategy, planning, and implementation to optimize on‑page content architecture, metadata, and internal/external linking, improving GEO and SEO performance.
  • Partner with brand teams to identify and develop new digital offerings internally to address business needs.
  • Collaborate with IT/WebDev, Veeva, and agency teams to support implementation, platform updates, feature releases, and performance improvements.
  • Support AI Content Producers during peak periods by authoring, updating, and optimizing content, leveraging content‑authoring platforms.
  • Ensure all digital properties and experiences comply with regulatory, legal, privacy, accessibility, and security standards.

Digital Execution and Project Management

  • Maintain and execute web operations and manage digital offerings across ophthalmology brands to ensure alignment with brand positioning, lifecycle needs, and omnichannel goals.
  • Serve as the primary digital partner to brand marketing teams, translating brand objectives into actionable website and digital initiatives.
  • Manage end‑to‑end project workflows for digital deliverables, coordinating with brand teams, AI content producers, media, IT/WebDev, Veeva, and agency partners.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, scopes, and deliverables to ensure on‑time, high‑quality execution.
  • Coordinate and route materials through medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR/PRC) review processes.

 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience in a creative production environment will also be strongly considered.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, web operations, digital brand management, or within a digital agency environment, ideally supporting multichannel or omnichannel brand initiatives.
  • Execution: Hands‑on experience with website management, technical and structured content updates, and foundational SEO/GEO optimization practices.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners including brand marketing, media, analytics, IT, and external agencies.

 

Qualifications

  • Background: Experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare marketing.
  • MRL/PRC: Understand MLR/PRC review processes and regulatory/legal standards governing pharmaceutical Rx promotion.
  • GenAI Experience: Demonstrated ability in applying Generative AI within web ops and creative production/automation. Experience with vibe-coding is a plus.
  • Tools Proficiency:
    • Experience working with CMS, like Optimizely, Drupal, or WordPress, and familiarity with responsive design.
    • Familiarity with Veeva Vault/CLM/PromoMats.
    • Experience with Content-authoring platforms is a plus.
  • Project Management: Strong project management capabilities, with ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams across internal teams, vendors, IT/WebDev, creative partners, and MLR reviewers.

 

Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work schedule allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $160,000.00 and $190,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
