Reporting to the Sr. Director, Revenue Controls, the Senior Manager, Finance – Gross to Net is an integral member of the US Controller’s Organization. This position is located in Bridgewater, NJ and is responsible for managing, accounting and finance for all Gross to Net activities for Commercial, Government Contracts and Returns for Bausch + Lomb Americas.
With four direct reports, the position is responsible for:
- Leading support for development of gross-to-net accounting and forecasts for pharmaceuticals and generics portfolio.
- Gross-to-net accounting and forecasting process and tools, including ensuring all models are up-to-date with the latest methodologies and insights.
- Serves as internal consultant with Finance, Pricing & Contracting, Commercial and Strategy teams.
- Serves as a liaison with our external payments with IntegriChain, our contract and rebate outside service provider and AR to ensure the effective application of rebates.
- Analyzes and tracks actual rebates and expenses throughout the month end and identifies variances from forecasted projections. Works to determine reasons for variances and ways to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Liaisons with auditors related to quarterly and annual audit inquiries and SOX 404 reviews.
- Assists in quarterly and annual financial and SOX 404 audits.
- Assists with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Education and experience level

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- Master's degree in analytical field (and/or MBA and/or CPA) preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating a steady career progression with increasing roles of responsibility
- Gross-to-net forecasting-related experience from the pharmaceutical industry

- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to assist in analyzing and reconciling contracts and financial data.
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to use advanced Excel spreadsheet functions and formulas to build and maintain models for calculating and forecasting gross-to-net deductions
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize and work within strict timelines.
- High ethical standards, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong technical skills and flexibility in handling changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including senior management.
