Bausch + Lomb is seeking a highly strategic and result-driven leader to serve as Senior Director, IT – Supply Chain Product Line. This role is the global technology and data leader for the Supply Chain domain, with end-to-end accountability for the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and operations of digital and data capabilities across the supply chain domain. As the enterprise capability owner, this leader will act as a strategic thought leader and translate business priorities into forward-looking digital, data, and AI strategy, delivering measurable improvements in supply chain performance, including forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, supply continuity, network optimization, and quality cost.
Reporting to the VP – IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D, this role will partner with senior business leaders across IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to modernize our technology landscape, drive efficiencies, and leverage data and AI as strategic differentiators. The role requires a blend of strategic vision, deep technical expertise, and strong global leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the global IT strategy for Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and growth objectives.
- Own the product line roadmap and investment priorities, balancing operational excellence with long-term transformation.
- Drive standardization and simplification of systems to improve data quality, integration, and decision-making.
- Lead enterprise transformation initiatives, embedding automation, AI/ML, and advanced analytics into core supply chain processes.
- Anticipate industry trends (e.g., Industry 4.0, digital twins, predictive quality, advanced planning) and shape Bausch + Lomb’s technology & data roadmap accordingly.
Operational Excellence & Resilience
- Ensure core systems are rationalized, stable, secure, compliant, and scalable.
- Drive integration across global platforms to reduce complexity, enhance data flow, and improve decision-making.
- Support the implementation of strong risk, cybersecurity, and business continuity practices.
Innovation & Value Creation
- Partner with business leaders to deliver high-value technology use cases.
- Lead initiatives that increase supply chain agility, elevate demand sensing, planning, and scenario modeling, optimize SC, and cost of quality.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and external partnerships (cloud, digital ecosystems, robotics, IoT, LLMs) to drive efficiency and growth, from pilot to large scale adoption.
People & Culture
- Build and lead a high-performing, global IT organization that is agile, collaborative, and business outcome–oriented.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning across IT and business teams.
- Develop future IT leaders by mentoring and empowering teams at all levels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive IT, supply chain, digital, or analytics experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles within life sciences, healthcare, or highly regulated global industries.
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation across manufacturing, supply chain, and/or quality domains.
- Deep knowledge of platforms and technology in the supply chain, manufacturing, and quality domains and their integration.
- Strong expertise in AI/ML, automation, analytics, and cloud transformation.
- Track record of cross-functional program delivery at scale.
- Demonstrated success leading global, cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Experience with vendor management across MSP/SI partners and SaaS ecosystems.
- Experience managing compliance with global health authorities (FDA, EMA, PMDA, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership presence, and stakeholder management skills.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $210,000.00 and $275,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
