Bausch + Lomb is seeking a motivated and strategic Senior Brand Manager, Digital Platform Solutions (Opal) to lead marketing strategies and campaigns across B2B2C e-commerce and digital platforms—most notably the Opal Digital Marketplace—to enhance brand presence and drive business growth. This critical role ensures that marketing initiatives are well-aligned with company objectives and evolving market trends. The Senior Brand Manager will drive the go-to-market strategy for Opal and other digital solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and successful execution that supports both customer engagement and revenue goals. Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing, the Senior Brand Manager will oversee project planning, scope, and prioritization of the digital roadmap, partnering closely with Digital Strategy, Field Sales, and National Accounts to develop and deliver customer-specific business plans that advance Bausch + Lomb’s digital commerce strategy.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes go-to-market strategy for Bausch and Lomb Vision Care ecommerce marketplace.
  • Develops and executes professional (ECP) messaging, assets, and tools to drive awareness and adoption of platform.
  • Develops and executes patient-facing messaging on- and off-platform including consumer campaign and targeting initiatives.
  • Leads and collaborates with Sales leadership, Business Development Managers, Field Sales, National Account Managers, and Sales Training to provide sales direction, gather crucial feedback, manage messaging for both internal and external initiatives.  Creates and delivers sales tools and assets to facilitate sales execution.
  • Ensures internal alignment and facilitates strong communication among Digital Project Owner, Digital Strategy, Sales, Operations, Distribution, IT, etc., while growing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders outside of the organization.
  • Ensures Senior and Executive Leadership is kept informed of product updates and sales performance.  Address any concerns and any strategic imperatives driven by leadership.
  • Monitors key performance metrics to track progress and adjusts the plan as needed to deliver results.
  • Develops project plan, scope, and prioritization of roadmap for platform.  Communicates milestones and progress and manages cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Explores and delivers new and enhanced eCommerce business models and platforms through key partnerships with retailers, vendors, and cross-functional partners to grow Bausch + Lomb Contact Lens brands sales and online presence.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline required, MBA preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience within US OTC and/or CPG marketing organization. Healthcare professional marketing experience a plus but not mandatory.
  • Success operating in a matrix environment, developing strong relationships across functional groups (e.g. sales and technology) to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and adapt to digital trends in the vision care industry or related fields, utilizing innovative approaches to enhance marketing strategies and improve customer engagement.
  • Experience in identifying and responding to digital trends in vision care or related industries
  • Proven track record to negotiate successfully and to resolve challenges arising out of everyday business situations and competing needs across dotted line reporting relationships
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders and proven sound business judgment and financial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • High digital literacy, including web applications, MS Office and sales database applications per computer proficiency standards.
  • Domestic Travel required, ability to travel overnight up to 25%.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between [$160,000.00 and  $180,000.00].  The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance,  a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
