Bausch + Lomb's Global Digital organization seeks a passionate and highly motivated Product Owner - Digital HealthTech Commerce. In this role, you will leverage state-of-the-art digital tools, AI, and advanced analytics to deliver HealthTech and Digital Commerce capability that creates a seamless customer experience and drives top & bottom-line growth. This person must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, "startup" environment. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Digital Strategy.

 

The primary responsibilities of this role are:

  • Set an ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to the team and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead a cross-functional Agile Scrum team through the Agile product development lifecycle, playing a leading role in sprint ceremonies like Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning.
  • Accountable for product KPIs once the solution enters production and communicates regular tracking to stakeholders.
  • Champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product to what is desirable, viable, and feasible.
  • Utilize market /industry knowledge to translate features & user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team and maintain a backlog of 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the development team.
  • Perform Design review and UX testing to accept the user story has been completed.
  • Advocate for business stakeholders in providing timely, actionable insights & recommendations to grow the business.
  • Facilitate release planning with stakeholders and weekly demos (when necessary).
  • Build strong internal and external networks of capabilities and capacity to execute the vision with quality & speed.
  • Develop Agile best practices and leads the cross-functional Agile team in continuous improvement via ceremonies like Sprint Retrospective.
  • Assist with the development of business cases and operating plans.
  • Manage and onboard vendors.
  • Develop project baselines, monitor, and control project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and report project deviations. Manage risks, issues, and resolutions.

 

Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience, with proven experience in product management, Agile and Scrum. Consulting experience a plus.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated functional work experience in the Digital Commerce Product area (B2BB2C, D2C, and B2B), content management & PIM solutions. HealthTech experience a plus.
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of digital and software delivery, technology, and supporting industry principles.
  • Experienced in leading Agile Scrum teams (i.e., facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, writing user stories), tracking team-level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.)
  • Possess domain-specific technical expertise to support backlog development and resolve blockers for the team.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders and collaborating in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Proven problem solver who can manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress.
  • Experience acting as “voice of the customer” to represent the business.

Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work location, allowing for up to two days/week in a remote work location and three days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.
