The IT SAP Solution Validation Test Senior Analyst partners with the Director IT – Enterprise SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead testing strategy creation, execution, coordination, and tool administration for the relevant SAP S/4HANA testing activities.  The role is heavily focused on testing coordination and tool administration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Testing Readiness for testing cycles: System Integration, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (and others if applicable).
  • Collaborate with Test teams spread across multiple geo-locations and offshore to successfully deliver quality test outcomes to the satisfaction of business and key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with IT Process Leads and Business Stakeholders to understand and document the testing requirements.
  • Author key deliverables like Test Communication Plan, Test Strategy, Structuring Test Scenarios (scripts and steps), System Integration, Regression and UAT documents.
  • Coordinate the creation of test scenarios, determine adequate test coverage, and ensure requirements are tied to test scripts and documented (linked) in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
  • Manage capacity planning of testing resources based on number of scenarios, project size, complexity, and duration.
  • Support defect analysis and triage, including mitigation (defect leakage, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).
  • Track and report on test readiness and execution status.
  • Support the adherence of Entry and Exit criteria for testing phases.
  • Leverage automation tools like Worksoft to develop automated scripts.
  • Support end users for ALM requests such as maintaining user account, authentication and ensuring users have the right roles/permissions based on their profile.
  • Develop training materials and conduct end user training sessions.
  • Distribute communications regarding Testing Tool maintenance, updates, changes.
  • Collaborate with security, training, HR, and quality/compliance resources to support end-to-end project requirements.
     

Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science, business, MIS, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years knowledge and experience working with Test Management tools like Microfocus ALM, Tricentis VERA (Digital Validation Signatures), Worksoft (Testing Automation).
  • Proficient and experienced in Test Plan management, Test Tool Administration, and (proactive) mitigation of testing risks to plan, schedule, scope, and approach.
  • Basic understanding of ERP Applications (e.g., SAP), Supply Chain.
  • Experience leading and working with offshore teams including third party and managed services support.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent team coordination and communication (oral and written).
  • Excellent project management, conflict management and coordination skills.
  • Available for travel up to 10%.
