Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Global S/4 HANA procure to pay functionality, both for project build work, new enhancements and overseeing production support, including how Procure-to-Pay (PTP) works with intercompany transactions (manufacturing & commercial ops).
  • Responsible for developing a PTP business process capability roadmap by identifying changes needed in underlying processes, analyzing industry trends, and applying a strong understanding of best practices to transform the Procurement technology landscape to desired future state.
  • Coordinates with PTP and finance business leadership to support the business via technology.
  • Along with the SAP Core Team, will be responsible and accountable for the Global Procure-to-Pay (PTP) template solution to include process, system, and reporting/analytics as well as ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the gathering of requirements, solution design, unit testing, UAT, data requirements for functional area, review and approval of test cases.
  • Works collaboratively with company leadership to develop, monitor, maintain & proactively communicate project status of the business process workstream(s) including: 
    • Schedule.
    • Scope.
    • change control processes.
    • Risk management approach.
    • Quality assurance/control exposures.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, change management, risk management, and other key activities for project cutover for the PTP and intercompany space.
  • Build organizational technology talent by creating a learning environment that ensures all employees have the training and skills needed to utilize available technology to meet their business needs.
  • Resolve business issues, define, and manage change in area and other departments that impact the ability to deliver the project goals.
  • Manages integration of solution(s) into enterprise technical architecture and business environment.
  • Work with IT support (Application managed services) resources to resolve PTP / intercompany issues and communicate with business users on these issues and resolution.
  • Manage and suggest intercompany Tax Inversion processes coordinating with finance and Tax groups.

 

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, business management or related discipline.
  • 8 or more years’ experience in SAP design and full cycle implementations (Life sciences experience preferred).
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Migrations and/or SAP IT support.
  • Knowledge & experience with SAP ERP, enabling of Fiori tiles and ALM for SDLC.
  • Demonstrated success in leading functional areas (PTP / intercompany) in highly complex, large-scale, multi-business system/application transformations.
  • Understanding/experience of intercompany processes (material & financial flows) including Tax Inversion strategies.
  • Proficient and experienced in managing all phases of a software project (Software Development Lifecycle).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and multi-task.
  • Decision Making Skills – under general guidance, ability to make effective decisions which are derived by evaluating various alternatives against business and technology requirements.
  • Analytical Skills – ability to analyze and effectively integrate complex information on business and technology issues and requirements into viable solution options.
  • Business Knowledge – understanding of business functions within the project scope and the ability to effectively work with process owners to identify & optimize poorly performing business processes.

 

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $120 - $185.  

 

As required by New York City’s salary transparency provisions of the New York City Human Rights Law, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York City.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For New York City, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $120 - $185.
 

This position may be available in the following locations: Bridgewater, NJ; Rochester, NY; St. Louis, MO.
