Overview
Bausch + Lomb (B+L) is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing for our Private Label Lens Care and OTC eye drops category business with a primary focus on increasing profitability and selectively launching new OTC formulas. This role will also manage our established brands portfolio across OTC Lens Care, OTC eye drops and Vision Accessories. This role will require strong partnerships with retail sourcing departments as well as internal stakeholders including manufacturing, engineering, regulatory and quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan updates for $60M Private Label business to support long-term BU market share and financial objectives.
- Maintain dominant supplier position of Private Label Lens Care. Continue to enhance profitability of current portfolio
- Launch private label brimonidine tartrate (Lumify®) in 2027 with the goal of 100% distribution in major retail customers
- Identify other margin accretive business opportunities and develop new formula recommendations for 2027 and beyond in the OTC eye drop category
- Partner closely with Sales account managers and Customer Logistics managers to understand retailer requirements, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Direct B+L labeling group in creation of new item artwork as well as retail driven rebranding projects
- Lead a cross-functional team with responsible members from manufacturing, engineering, quality and regulatory to support maintenance of business needs and increasing retailer requirements for private label product support including:
- Populating retailer proprietary databases with product specifications, clinical documentation to support product claims and manufacturing plant GMP and ESG audits
- Coordinate product testing programs along with B+L QA for retail partners
- Host retailer sourcing teams at both Greenville and Tampa mfg. plants
- Collaborate with key members of manufacturing organization in demand planning and new product development teams
- Manage B+L $65MM established brand portfolio
- Develop annual Operating Plans
- Assist supply chain in development of accurate demand plans
Compliance and Regulation:

- Stay current with labeling regulations and ensure all products are in compliance with relevant labeling guidelines.
- Internal processes – Manage initiation, tracking and swift completion of internal processes, and lead promotional assets through the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) and Packaging electronic approval system (ELM).
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience within ophthalmic, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries, with significant expertise in private label.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate independently with grit, customer centricity, and personal accountability. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
- Data-driven decision maker with high financial acumen and proficiency in market analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work schedule allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $175,000.00 and $220,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
