We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Benefits to lead our employee benefits program. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Total Rewards and HR Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive benefits package that attracts and retains top talent, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.  Functioning as a key leader on our HR team, we are looking for a collaborative functional expert who is excited to join a fast-paced, dynamic HR department.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee competitive and comprehensive employee benefits programs globally, including U.S. health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Analyze and benchmark benefits programs globally to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant U.S. laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Develop and deliver employee communications and education programs related to benefits.
  • Manage the annual U.S. benefits enrollment process, including communication, enrollment, and data management.
  • Oversee the administration of U.S. benefits programs, including claims resolution, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and manage the U.S. benefits budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to benefits team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expert knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel and presentation skills required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with HR and cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with business leaders and sharing point of view.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated; ability to set and manage priorities, multi-task, and pivot as priorities change.
