The Vision Care business unit of Bausch + Lomb is primarily focused on contact lenses and lens care solutions which addresses patients’ everyday eye conditions including Myopia, Hyperopia, Astigmatism and Presbyopia. We offer a broad portfolio of products to help Eye Care Practitioners (ECP’s) solve the most challenging patient visual demands, featuring cutting edge materials blended with incredibly innovative optical designs.

 

The Brand Manager - Digital Platform Solutionsleads B2B2C eCom and digital platforms for Bausch + Lomb Contact Lens in the US.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: The incumbent develops vision, strategy, and execution for ecommerce marketplaces and leads new business development and new business models for the ecommerce team.
  • Cross-functional Alignment: The incumbent ensures internal/external alignment, while growing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • KPI Tracking: The incumbent monitors key metrics to track progress and adjusts the plan as needed to deliver results.
  • Project Management: The incumbent develops project plan, scope, and prioritization of roadmap.  Communicates milestones and progress and manages cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Sales/Customer Support: The incumbent partners with field sales and national account sales to support customer-specific business plans.
  • Budget Management: The incumbent manages a trade promotional budget and responsible for optimizing ROI.
  • Forward thinking: Explore and deliver new and enhanced eCommerce business models and platforms through key partnerships with retailers, vendors, and cross-functional partners to grow Bausch + Lomb Contact Lens brands sales and online presence
  • Negotiation: Be a steadfast negotiator to optimize vendor partnerships
  • Always aligns with company policies and procedures

 

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct customer sales within contact lens/medical device/consumer or marketing required eCommerce and platform experience highly preferred
  • Cross functional experience is a plus (sales and technology)
  • Proven track record to negotiate successfully and to resolve challenges arising out of everyday business situations and competing needs across dotted line reporting relationships
  • Strong digital literacy, including web applications, MS Office and sales database applications per computer proficiency standards
  • Ability to:
    • prioritize and to manage multiple priorities successfully
    • influence using collaborative approaches to drive rapid change at large scale
    • work in a sophisticated, matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
    • successfully negotiate internally and externally to align competing needs at high levels across dotted line relationships
    • instill followership through collaboration
