Bausch + Lomb is seeking a high performing Associate Vision Territory Manager (AVTM) to independently drive business result for their assigned geographic areas. This individual will develop strong business partnerships with retail affiliated and independent Eye Care Practitioners (ECP) in an assigned territory to achieve mutually beneficial objectives by leveraging Bausch + Lomb Vision Care product solutions that address the needs of the patient and practice. The AVTM role will work remotely from their home office and report directly into a field Regional Business Director (RBD).
Role and Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
- Meet/Exceed the Quarterly territory sales quota and key metrics established by sales leadership for the given territory
- Execute effective sales calls primarily via web video/phone and at times in-person, to ECP’s within the assigned territory and move business forward by using marketing materials, programs and selling techniques to increase Bausch + Lomb contact lens prescriptions and lens care recommendations
- Meet/Exceed the daily/weekly customer engagement metrics established by sales leadership
- Responsible for creating and executing an effective call plan cycle and formulating an overall territory strategy to develop new customers and accelerate growth with existing customers
- Develop and manage account specific business plans for the highest volume customers to maintain expected growth rates
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical knowledge of all Bausch + Lomb Vision Care products as well as competitive products
- Utilize Salesforce.com CRM system to maintain accurate customer information and account progress continuum
- Attend National and Regional Sales meetings along with trade shows as needed
- Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis
- Assist RBD in covering open Field Territories as needed
- Travel up to 2 weeks per quarter into assigned geographic territory to make in-person sales calls to key customers as needed
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- 1+ years of successful B2B sales experience in addition to 1+ years healthcare sales experience (eye health industry preferred), along with a documented track record of success (attainment to goals, awards, formal recognition) in those roles
- Self-starter with ability to work independently who exhibits positive and constructive attitude
- Ability to identify and address customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and effectively drive sales growth within assigned territories.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as educate and influence customers.
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage customer accounts, as well as effectively handle administrative responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills are required along with strong financial and analytical acumen. Able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office suite of products and standard digital technology tools
- Maintain a professional home office environment suitable for web video meetings, including a high-speed internet connection to ensure reliable and effective communication. Ability to travel up to two weeks per month (up to 25%) within the assigned territory for in-person sales meetings with key customers as needed
- Must reside within 60 miles of the assigned territory geography
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
