Objectives: 

Support Manufacturing (Filling, Packaging, Automation) in one of three functions:  

1) Training

2) Compliance

3) Manufacturing Quality Systems

 

Responsibilities:

  • Training:
    • Create/modify curriculums and certification programs.  Prepare/deliver training.  Support the training program for Manufacturing personnel related to manufacturing processes.  Work with Training Dept. for data entry and monitoring of training programs.
  • Compliance:  
    • Participates in investigations, including determination of root cause and evaluation, initiation and ownership of CAPAs.  
  • Manufacturing Quality Systems:  
    • Issue, investigate, and review 
    • Nonconformance investigations for the manufacturing departments. Recommend, implement, and coordinate corrective actions including process changes and Training with Quality Assurance. Provide trending of nonconformance events related to personnel and processes.  
  • Provide feedback to management regarding the activities of the team, the plan for future improvements, and identification of obstacles that could prevent or slow down the correction/improvement process.  
  • Work with technical leads and managers to create effective user-focused work instructions, and other training materials as needed to support manufacturing training efforts. 
  • Evaluation of quality issues with the department supervisors.  
  • Actively participates in the identification and implementation of manufacturing procedure improvements intended to optimize existing or new processes.
  •  Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.  
  • Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.  
  • Other duties, as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma (BS degree preferred).
  • Experience communicating in a diverse environment. 
  • Experience working in team environment providing guidance and training. 
  • Problem solving, facilitator and management skills. Self-initiative. 
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
