OBJECTIVES/ |
Perform specific duties according to SOP's, W.I.’s, etc., within the value stream, either by the use of both hands or by using machinery when assigned.

KEY ACTIVITIES/ |
Mainly responsible for: -Must complete all Baseline Training -Work with little or no direction after being assigned -Performing other duties not listed while within the scope of Value Stream -Able to keep a clean and organized work environment -Follow all safety requirements -Ability to use fixed gauges, scopes, measuring instruments, and similar devices -Able to manually assemble small components -Able to sit or stand for extended periods -Able to accurately complete all documents for training, DHR, etc. -Ability to follow drawing and work instructions -Understand production boards. -Able to effectively perform duties at previous levels or equivalent experience. -Able to complete 09.10.XX PIN and 39.08.XX Series pinnacle forceps, while achieving quality and time standards or able to work on all stations of the Bipolar Cautery line, Subassembly/Soldering/Plugs and needles, while achieving quality and time standards.

SCOPE OF POSITION
|
Responsible for the assembly and/or manufacturing of single use and reusable, surgical components to finished good devices within the value stream.
All work performed must be completed with the highest Quality standards possible and within the allowed time given to maintain the highest efficiencies possible with minimum requirements established for each operation.
Must be able to work 4 ten-hour days from 5:45am to 4:15pm on Monday through Thursday. Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Friday, Saturday's and Sunday's. |
KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Must be able to communicate and work as a team in a diverse culture within the department and facility. Includes speaking at daily production meeting and potentially at weekly department meetings. Must be able to effectively and respectfully communicate to others outside of our department.

QUALIFICATIONS/
|
Required Education: High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
Required Skills/Qualifications: Ability to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers; follow instructions; use of fixed gauges, direct reading instruments and similar devices, where interpretation is not required. Dependable and reliable with strong attendance record. Must be able to stand or sit in one place for periods of time. Must be able to use calculators and computer equipment (including tablets, barcode readers, etc.).
Required Experience: Experience with manufacturing surgical handheld instruments.
Preferred Experience: - Experience using assembly equipment. - Knowledge of Lean and 5S practices. - Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP's) - Previous experience with hand or machine assembly of small parts.
