Production Technician ll - 3rd Shift
Objectives:
Job requires at least 5 years of packaging or non-sterile/aseptic filling experience. The job functions and responsibilities include proficient operation of filling equipment, including bottle unscramblers, tippers, cappers, conveyance systems, line and equipment cleaning, line clearances, component transfer, line/room disinfection, equipment set up and tear down, equipment troubleshooting, and proper documentation practices. Ability to operate all ointment lines and solution lines. This position requires aseptic gowning certification and line clearance certification. Maintain training requirements including SOP, EHS, and HR. Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area. Attend and participate in Lean Improvement initiatives such as reducing costs & OEE initiatives. Responsible for maintaining Quality, OEE, Material Variance and Scrap goals.
Responsibilities:
- Operates aseptic filling line equipment. Maintain production area to prevent cross-contamination (line clearance), disinfect filling lines after each run and perform line clearances. Responsible for maintaining OEE (system entry and standards).
- Properly document all activities and operations correctly and on time in the batch record.
- Meets and maintains all required training during the year.
- Support operations and EHS initiatives.
- Operate CPMS system.
- Complete line equipment preventive maintenance.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training preferred.
- Knowledgeable in proficiently operating filling/packaging equipment.
- Able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good documentation skills.
- Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English and possess basic math skills.
Payrate: $20.83 per hour depending on experience, plus $1.10 shift differential
Shift: 3rd shift Monday- Friday 11:00pm -7:30am
