Objectives/Purpose of the Job:
Coordinates the production activities for filling and packaging lines. Receives direction from area Team Leader on the production plan and daily schedule. Evaluates product quality issues with the QC representative. Requires one to two years of previous leadership experience.
Filling:
Coordinates the operation of aseptic filling equipment including ointment fillers, gel fillers, solution/suspension fillers, RABS, line and equipment cleaning, line clearance, equipment disinfection, and proper documentation practices.
Packaging:
Coordinates the operation of packaging equipment including manual case labeling, visual inspections, bundling, cartoning, labeling, banding, line and equipment cleaning, line clearances, serialization, and proper documentation practices.
Key Activities/Responsibilities/Job Functions:
1. Maintains production area to prevent cross-contamination (line clearance).
2. Assigns tasks for manufacturing operations and support associates.
3. Coordinates the turnaround, set-up, and changeover of manufacturing equipment.
4. Verifies component readiness, reject verification, and product returns.
5. Provides feedback to Team Leaders regarding associate performance and behaviors.
6. Ensures that manufacturing equipment is operating efficiently at or above target line speeds while minimizing line downtime and product reject.
7. Responsible for maintaining OEE (system entry and standards).
8. Completes all batch record and inventory documentation accurately (review batch records/ERPLx transactions).
9. Assists with nonconformance investigations, material variance review, line efficiency standards, and improvement opportunities.
10. Liaison with MQA Quality Control and QC Microbiology EMPS departments.
11. Backup for MQA Quality Control.
12. Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
13. Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
14. Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
15. Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.
16. All other duties, as assigned.
Packaging:
1. Operates packaging line and serialization equipment.
2. Performs Systech serialization and ERPLx report generation.
Filling:
1. Operates ointment, gel, solutions, and suspension filling lines including RABS fillers.
2. Operates Continuous Particle Monitoring System (Filling)
3. Performs Gatekeeper, CPMS, ERPLx, and Aseptic Filler report generation and review.

1. Line Clearance – Filling and Packaging
2. Disinfection – Filling
3. Aseptic Gowning – Filling
4. Serialization – Packaging
5. LOTO – Filling and Packaging
6. CPMS – Filling
7. QC – Filling and Packaging
8. ERPLx – Filling and Packaging
Qualifications/Training:
1. AA/AS preferred; High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous leadership experience.
3. Ability to effectively work with internal department supervisors.
4. Able to work quickly and under pressure.
5. Good documentation and advanced math skills.
6. Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.
7. Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.
8. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Shift: Sunday to Thursday/ 11:00pm to 7:30am
Start Pay Range: $ 25.00
This position may be available in the following location: Tampa, FL.
