HIRING FULL-TIME POSITION
Maintenance Technician II
Payrate: $24.76+ per hour depending on experience *$1.10 shift differential*
Shift: 3rd shift Monday- Friday 11:00pm -7:30am
Location: Tampa, FL
Sign-on Bonus: $250 after 90 days and another $250 after 180 days.
Objectives: Perform facility repairs and maintain production equipment while performing mechanical and electrical repairs; process work orders. This position is a weekend coverage position and is intended to provide 24/7 coverage to the site.
Responsibilities:
- Process daily work orders and upgrades of facility equipment.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) as assigned on scheduled
equipment.
- Installation of new equipment and parts.
- Assist Utility Department in general repairs and passivation.
- Maintain GMP and SOP training compliance.
- Support Process and Safety initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for the GMP, environment health and safety
procedure awareness, compliance within the respective area.
- Abide by LOTO, PPE and good housekeeping procedures.
- Repair machine parts using general machine shop equipment and welding tools.
- Ability to work in a confined space, entry is required.
- Respirator qualification is required. (Training Provided)
- Must be capable of working in the aseptic environment (Training Provided)
- All other duties as assigned.
Scope of position:
- Process daily work orders and preventive maintenance, which includes troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading the production, facility, and lab equipment.
Qualifications:
On the Job Training provided:
- Aseptic Gowning Certification.
- Forklift & JLG Certification
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Logical approach to troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Good organizational skills, able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Able to use mechanics tools (hand tools, electrical tools, etc.)
- Ability to operate lathe and milling machine preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience.
