Being Leader of Vision Care, Taiwan 

  • Full P&L responsibility for the Vision Care Business Unit in Taiwan.
  • Develop near-and long-term strategic plans for Taiwan business that consider both organic growth and partnership/acquisition-driven growth.
  • Provide oversight and management of multiple initiatives. Ensure that work is completed efficiently in identifying issues, adjusting priorities, establishing management routines, tracking progress and leveraging resources.
  • Implement near-and long-term action plans for the business that will result in business performance improvements.
  • Understand and analyze financial data (e.g. balance sheet, P&L, volume trends, return on investment, plan vs. actuals, volume and rate variance) and the relationships between the various data points.
  • Prepare annual budget, budget controls, and budget variances for the efficient management of the business.
  • Build a high-performing, empowered leadership team.
  • Build and manage a complex network of distributors and direct sales representatives to maximize sales performance.
  • Lead product development/integration efforts in conjunction with product development teams to build products that reflect the needs of the related markets.
  • Set business and performance objectives for the team; establish a culture that promote performance excellence.
  • Motivate teams to produce quality results while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure alignment to company’s policies and procedures in the Business Unit.
  • To be the custodian of the company Vision and Values.

 

Being General Manager, Taiwan (site lead),

  • Create and follow procedures to guarantee immediate response to emergency situations involving service restoration.
  • Facilitate cross-department communication to effectively provide customer support.
  • Ensure overall local guidelines are implemented across every BU and are aligned with the Corporate guidelines.
  • Maintain and continuously build team’s morale and engagement level
  • Ensure safety, security, configuration management and site mission operations indoctrination training to all site personnel.
