Job Description

As the Sales & Marketing Analyst, you will be contributing to the performance of Bausch + Lomb’s Surgical, Vision Care and Pharma business units dedicated to providing superior patient outcomes. This position will involve working with the Surgical, Vision Care and Pharma Commercial Leadership Teams (including the marketing team, sales directors, and business unit director) and the cross-functional teams, to create, implement, and advance key strategic sales and marketing deliverables in highly dynamic markets. You will also have responsibility for consolidating and synthesizing large data sets and communicating simplified and actionable insights to the business. This is a unique opportunity to work on multiple products and multiple portfolios, including new product launches in 2025.

 

Other Responsibilities Include

  • Provide regular updates on key performance sales and marketing metrics.
  • Maintain data structures and data quality. Assist with market models.
  • Generate recurring, monthly and weekly performance reports.
  • Support the creation and execution of annual marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Supporting all respective brand‐marketing initiatives with the sales force to achieve the annual and mid‐term sales and market share objectives.
  • Leverage Power BI to build captivating data visualizations and insights.
  • Understand market business drivers that contribute to growth and provide analysis of territory performance.
  • Pro-active analysis or predictive modelling to identify opportunities related to customer growth, efficiencies or other business interests.
  • Consolidate and build custom reports for data not easily accessible to the business; Salesforce.com, Power BI, external market data sources.
  • Train stakeholders on key internal systems and processes; Power BI, Salesforce.com, OCE.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity.
  • Support the month end, quarter end and year end planning processes. Establish and track performance against Commercial KPIs.
  • Creating internal competitive reference materials.
  • Ad-hoc involvement in marketing projects, cross-functional initiatives, and/or training.
  • Visiting customers in the field to understand the business and gaps to identify areas of improvement and/or novel solutions.
  • Attending relevant sales / regional meetings, national sales meetings, and conferences

 

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, science or technical education preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous corporate / relevant work experience preferred.
  • Desire to learn quickly and be exposed to new challenges.
  • Hands-on, execution attitude.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity yet with the ability to drive change and make things happen.
  • Works with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management experience, having worked on cross-functional teams.
  • Building strategic, working relationships to facilitate accomplishment of goals.
  • High Digital IQ preferred.
  • Ability to travel.
