Objective/ Purpose of job: This role is essential for building strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and enhancing their overall experience with B+L Surgical products and services in national level and provide the most updated technical and application know-how for the most effective use our products.

 

Key responsibilities:

Application:

  • First contact for any Application need in assigned region.
  • Support, Distributors and Medical Professionals on B+L Surgical Products and provide application support for most effective use of the products.

 

Distributor Management:

  • Responsible for tracking Distributor product demo activities including B+L and Distributor owned demo devices in order to ensure those activities are in line with B+L policies.
  • Create, develop, maintain strong and long-term relationship with Distributors.

 

KOL Identification, Mapping and Development:

  • Identification and mapping of key national leaders in support of portfolio and or specific products to enhance clinical messaging, product performance to enable adoption enhance product brand and overall company image.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Personally, conducts regular visits with top tier KOLs, with the OR presence.
  • Actively participates in Regional and National Congresses.

 

Marketing Strategy and Market Know-How:

  • Ensures alignment of Product Brand strategy and messaging in accordance with International Guidelines
  • Monitors competitor products and in-field activities

 

Required Education, Abilities & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines with medical device background.
  • Professional level of English (Fluent) and Arabic.
  • Prior experience training/sales on medical device equipment use and applications.
  • Previous experience with sales would be an advantage.
  • Proven presentation skills and success facilitating training and transferring knowledge.
  • Good level of understanding human anatomy and ability to read interpret clinical publications and protocols.
  • Experience working with office and medical device applications.
  • Ability to travel for this field-based role

Experience:

  • +5 years of experience in medical device industry in application or training roles including both equipment’s and disposables (Ophthalmology field preferred).
