Puchasing Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the EMEA Planning Team and intercompany stakeholders on forecasts, purchase orders, backorders, stock levels, new flows, and product launches.
- Work with external and intercompany suppliers on purchasing orders and deliveries activities to the local distribution center of Bausch & Lomb in Poland; manage complaints if necessary.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to plan and execute transport activities for inbound deliveries, including import clearance, customs, and tax duties; create inbound documents.
- Monitor delivery timelines and ensure the accuracy of inbound documentation;
- Coordinate and collaborate with the local importer's warehouse on deliveries of products from non-EU regions, including monitoring shipping import documentation, overseeing the QP release process, organizing transfers from the Bausch & Lomb Ireland importer's warehouse to the Bausch & Lomb Poland warehouse, and issuing inbound/outbound documents in SAP ERP.
- Utilize SAP ERP (MM, SD, LE, LG modules) for processing orders and monitoring order timeliness.
Collaboration :
- Work with regulatory, EMQA, finance, controlling, IT, sales, and marketing teams to resolve issues in day-to-day operations within Bausch & Lomb.
- Understand Bausch & Lomb suppliers' requirements and proactively seek improvement opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, maintaining a careful and respectful approach and communication style by providing accurate information, taking proactive actions, and solving problems creatively.
- Participate in corporate projects related to changes resulting from current business decisions.
- Understand and apply incoterms rules and definitions in practical scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and internal regulations of Bausch & Lomb.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the supply chain, including data analysis and reporting (Excel, SAP, Intrastat).
Requirements:
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a meticulous eye for accuracy.
- Experience in SAP ECC Module SD: Proficient in using SAP ECC module SD.
- Experience in SFDC: Familiar with Salesforce (SFDC).
- Educational Background: Holds a university degree.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in Polish and English;
- Additional Language Skills: Proficiency in any other foreign language is an asset.
- Business Writing Skills: Strong business writing capabilities.
- Advanced MS Office Skills: Expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel.
