Premium IOL's and Refractive Manager

 

Preferred location: Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków, Bydgoszcz and Toruń

 

The Premium IOL and Refractive Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of premium intraocular lenses and refractive technologies through commercial and clinical support. A key part of this role involves working closely with ophthalmologists and clinical teams—both before and during surgical procedures—to ensure proper use of Bausch + Lomb products and equipment.

 

Requirements: 
•     Education: Degree in Optometry – mandatory
•     Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years in medical sales or hospital setting (preferably in patient qualification for cataract or refractive procedures)
•     English Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English – mandatory
•     Sales Skills: Experience in product presentations, commercial discussions, and client relationship building
•     Clinical Competence: Understanding of cataract and refractive surgery procedures; ability to interpret diagnostic results and provide clinical guidance
•     Surgical Support: Willingness to be present during surgical procedures to provide technical and clinical support for correct product and equipment usage
•     Mobility: Willingness to travel and work in the field
•     Additional Advantage: Familiarity with premium IOL portfolio (e.g. LuxLife™, enVista Aspire®, IC-8® Apthera™)


Main Responsibilities:
•     Clinical support during patient qualification for procedures involving premium IOLs and refractive technologies (including laser-assisted surgeries such as: LASIK, PRK, PTK etc.
•     Presence during surgical procedures to ensure proper use of products and equipment, offering both technical and clinical guidance
•     Clinical consulting for ophthalmologists and medical teams
•     Presentation and promotion of premium IOLs and refractive technologies 
•     Responsibility for managing the assigned territory and achieving sales targets
•     Organization of trainings, webinars, and clinical demonstrations
•     Collaboration with sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals
•     Market monitoring, client needs analysis, and activity reporting
•     Building long-term relationships with key clients and clinical centers
