JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE
Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive BUSINESS UNIT / FUNCTION
Surgical LOCATION
Within India as defined by Business OBJECTIVES/ PURPOSE OF JOB
To meet customers, implement marketing strategies and execute activities to maximize Primary, secondary & tertiary sales of Surgical Cataract products in designated territory/ markets & customers.
KEY ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Value creation for the B+L brand and products.
• To identify new locations & outlets and act as liaison between the company & Customer
• Sell Surgical products to meet monthly/Annual targets
• Execute marketing plans to achieve sales targets unit wise & product wise
• Develop new/existing accounts to get maximum business, ensure stock & sales management and tracking
• Responsible for managing primary/secondary / Tertiary sales
• Build relationship to ensure that customer needs are taken care of and B&L product usage is increased. Ensure all activities are conducted within the approved framework of compliance guidelines.
• Monitor opportunities of business generation and competitors’ activities; provide timely reports on competitor activities
• Handling of distributors network. Train and build up system at Distributor & Sub Distributor level, provide product training and demonstration, train distributor sales team
• Actively generate leads for IOLs, equipment’s, consumables and instruments
• Should play a key role for supporting entire surgical business
• Prepare and submit all relevant reports pertaining to daily calls, target achievement, joint field units and sales force effectiveness.
• Ensure Receivables and Collections as per plan to contribute to the Company‘s bottom line
• Ensure 100% compliance on bundled deals SUPERVISE DIRECT REPORTS (yes or no)
No SCOPE OF POSITION
• Sales volume responsibility – As per target
• Customer wise and product wise target KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Ophthalmologists, Patient Counsellors, OT Staff, Center Managers, PRO, Biomedical, Distributors etc. QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING
• Graduates- Science/Engineering – No diplomas
• MBA Preferred
EXPERIENCE
• 2-5 years of experience
• Preferably Surgical/Medical Devices Co
