IT – SAP Security Lead
The role partners with the Director IT – SAP Technical Platform owner to lead SAP Security strategy creation, execution, coordination, monitoring and tool administration for SAP platform.
Responsibilities:
· Lead project implementation and/or production support of SAP Security and GRC administration
· Lead Project security consultant team AND the Application Management Services (AMS) team
· Provide hands-on SAP Security support working alongside the AMS team during US Business hours to resolve support tickets, provide Firefighter support and troubleshooting SAP Security issues
· Communicate SAP Security strategy through architecture documents
· Provide thought leadership and serve as the organizational go-to expert for SAP Security topics
· Drive technical aspects of strategic decisions for application security that ensures security and compliance of application
· Hands-on experience with authoring key project deliverables
· Perform daily monitoring and oversight to ensure security compliance and audit readiness
· Review functional specifications for SAP role development and system integration test plans
· Participate in project cutover activities and facilitate post Go-Live activities
· Support internal/external audits and drive remediation plans for related findings
· Mentor team members and identify continuous improvements and confirm audit compliance
· Collaborate with multiple functional teams including testing, training, Human Resources, and quality/compliance resources to support end-to-end project requirements and deliverables
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP security and GRC implementation with at least 1 end to end SAP implementation project, pharmaceutical/life sciences preferred
- Experience in developing SAP Security strategies, architecture, implementation plans and designing roles for ERP systems
- Experience in authorization concepts for SAP S4HANA Application and HANA Database, SAP FIORI, Solution Manger, SAP ECC, S-user support and Cloud Solutions such as CPI
- Experience with SAP GRC Access Control for centralized risk management, compliant provisioning, and role administration
- Ability to work with business and project teams to gather access requirements, analyze for Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflicts, monitor sensitive access, and mitigate risks
- Experience in GRC workflow development & Business Rule Framework (BRF) configuration
- Troubleshooting skills for any GRC issues such as access control workflow issues, provisioning errors, Firefighter issues
- Experience leading and collaborating with global teams in different time zones including third party and managed services support
- Experience in executing SOX Audit controls, prior Audit Support experience is a plus
- Understanding of Compliance and privacy regulations relevant to SAP Security in a life sciences environment (HIPAA, Export Compliance, SOX, etc.)
- Excellent project management, conflict management, team coordination and communication (oral and written)
- Available for travel up to 10%
· Degree in computer science, business, MIS, or equivalent
