JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Equipment Specialist BUSINESS UNIT / FUNCTION Surgical LOCATION Within India as defined by Business OBJECTIVES/ PURPOSE OF JOB To maximize sales of Surgical equipment, accessories, consumables and Instruments in designated markets & customers, in order to meet revenue and profitability targets through effective branding, distribution. KEY ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES • Value creation for the B+L brand and products • To identify new locations & outlets and act as liaison between the company & customer • Sell Surgical equipment, accessories, consumables and Instruments to meet monthly targets • Execute marketing plans to achieve sales targets unit wise & product wise • Develop new & existing customer to get maximum business through procedure growth • Build relationship to ensure that customer needs are taken care of and B&L product usage is increased • Monitor opportunities of business generation and competitors’ activities; provide timely reports on competitor activities • Train and build up system at sub-distributor & distributor’s level, provide product training and demonstration, train distributor sales team • Prepare and submit all relevant reports pertaining to daily calls, target achievement and joint field units • Ensure 100% compliance on bundled deals • Provide application support to all the installed machines, key accessories, consumables and Instruments • Provide a well-planned quality demo and closure of deals • Work closely with the IOL’s sales team to build a robust lead list for equipment’s, accessory, consumables and instruments • Identify and work closely with customers competition installations for selling key accessories, consumables and instruments • Enhancement program for customers – Equipment application and maintenance; could be monthly or quarterly • Ensure Receivables and Collections as per plan to contribute to the Company‘s bottom line • Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions & clinical meetings. • Coordinate with Service Team to ensure Surgical customer satisfaction. SUPERVISE DIRECT REPORTS SCOPE OF POSITION • Sales volume responsibility as per target • Product wise responsibility KEY RELATIONSHIPS KOL (Key Opinion Leader), Ophthals, Counsellors, Operation managers, PRO, Biomedical OT Staff etc. QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING • Graduate / Diploma - Biomedical Engineering or equivalent engineering EXPERIENCE • 5-7 years of experience • Preferably Surgical & Medical Devices Co
