The Temporary Training Specialist will be responsible for supporting, facilitating and leading training and development initiatives in support of the plant objectives.

 

This is a maternity cover contract

 

Principal Responsibilities include:

 

Be responsible for engaging with stakeholders in relation to training planning, analyse training activities and reporting on a regular basis
Lead operations training ensuring training is planned, effective, consistent and recorded to meet regulatory requirements
Work closely with management to execute training needs analyses and execute relevant training programs and develop relevant curricula
Coordinate training requirements for the implementation of new equipment working with operations, SME’s and the development team
Ensure standardised methods for delivery, recording and reporting of training activities are in place
Manage training in the learning management system to optimise the recording, assigning and tracking of training
Identify and implement improvements in the training process and systems to ensure a best-in-class approach to training
Support the site continuous improvement program through leading and facilitating training initiatives and projects
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management

Role Requirements:

 

Third Level Qualification HR/Training/Quality/Production Engineering
Lean/Six Sigma qualification desirable but not essential
5 plus years' experience in a training position with a key focus on process improvement.
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is a benefit in this role but we are open to other industries also
Strong attention to detail, time management and proven ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication, leadership, training and presentation skills
Experience managing and leading multiple competing projects and priorities
Excellent IT skills  with strong working knowledge of MS Office and Learning Mgt Systems
Experience using E-learning software an advantage
