Bausch + Lomb Waterford are excited to announce there is an opening for a graduate to join the Supply Chain Department. Applicants should possess a real passion for supply chain and an interest in working in a high volume fast paced manufacturing environment.

 

Programme Overview

 

During your two years on the Program, you will gain insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our businesses and our people within the manufacturing plant.   You will have real responsibility and will play a key role in strategic projects and initiatives.  You will work with and learn from great people and develop your expertise in the supply chain Department. You will be provided with a dedicated mentor throughout the program and will be given the opportunity to network with other graduates in Bausch + Lomb and the South East Region. In addition you will go on an internal secondment in the first year and in the second year on a 2 – 4 week international assignment which will aid in building you as a leader within the business.

 

Responsibilities

•Support Supply Chain activities relating to NPI (new product introductions), including SKU set up, project timelines, the QCR process, fit set build programs and launch planning.
•Assist on liaising with procurement on packaging and raw material requirements for these new ranges
•Participate in forecast analysis and capacity planning

The ideal candidate will have

•Minimum 2.1 degree in Business/Mathematics/Statistics/supply chain
•Strong numerical and analytical skills
•Good problem solving skills
•Excellent interpersonal & communications                                                                                                  skills
•Attention to detail is a must
•Advanced Excel skills
