This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Overview

- SQA engineer have a deep appreciation for technology and the ability to work independently while still collaborating with the rest of the software development team. At least two years of relevant experience and the following skills:

- Coding and programming knowledge – understand how coding and programming languages work so they can more effectively test the software created with them.

- Testing experience – this is an advanced role requiring in-depth knowledge of the most effective ways to evaluate software. Extensive testing experience and knowledge of a wide range of testing protocols.

- Metrics expertise – use metrics and measurement tools to create objective and quantifiable data and results

- Organization and time management –coordinate the development and evaluation process from start to finish.

- Communication skills – SQA engineers write detailed reports for every piece of software we test; they also communicate verbally with other areas of the business and other team members.

 

Education and Training

 

- A bachelor's degree in a computer, quality, validation and/or engineering field, such as computer science, software development, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or quality systems or CSV.

- Excellent communication

- Previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment is advantageous
