Programme Overview

During your two years on the Programme, you will gain insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our businesses and our people within automation.   You will have real responsibility and will play a key role in strategic projects and initiatives.  You will work with and learn from great people and develop your expertise in the Engineering Department. You will be provided with a dedicated mentor throughout the programme and will be given the opportunity to network with other graduates in Bausch + Lomb and the South East Region.

 

Responsibilities

Provide support to the development of machine control systems including motion controllers
Support manufacturing equipment to ensure KPI are met such as yield throughout and productivity.
Enable and engage continuous improvement efforts throughout the site.
Liaise cross functionally to support the management of introduction of equipment or processes & provide operational support to ensure plant goals are met
Implement systems to improve monitoring and  reporting of daily, weekly KPI’s
Identify and complete a site level improvement project
 

The ideal candidate will have

Minimum 2.1 degree in Electronic / Electrical / Automation Engineering                                                                                                        

Good problem solving & analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal & communications skills

Ability to work well within a team and on own initiatives

Good project management experience
