The EHS Officer is responsible for implementing all day to day EHSS activities at the Waterford site.

 

Reporting directly to the site EHSS Director.

 

Duties

 

•Active Implementation of EHSS Management system for Waterford facility operations.
•Work with the existing EHSS team to ensure ongoing compliance with the EHS program
•Execution of a systematic approach to risk assessments ensuring appropriate mitigation of risk. Working with senior operations managers and existing EHSS team to ensure the EHSS programs are effective and up-to-date.
•Oversight of internal systems to support incident case management, risk assessments, EHS inspections and internal and external auditing.
•Ensure corrective actions and preventative actions are managed through to completion
•Direct involvement and day to day management of EPA related activities

 

Requirements / Desirable

 

•Third Level qualification in Safety Health and Welfare desirable
•Energy Management & Environmental Management Qualification.
•Experience required in large scale manufacturing facility is essential.
