The successful candidate will manages working capital, cash forecasting, forecast vs. actual variance analysis and identification of foreign currency risks. This position is vital in the Treasury team's efforts to optimize liquidity management in Europe and Asia Pacific and enhance the Company's liquidity profile.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory trends in EMEA and APAC.
  • Work with Finance, Commercial Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics and other stakeholders on continuous improvements of working capital KPIs like Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days Payables Outstanding (DPO) and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO).
  • Analyse cash forecast variances and work with legal entity Finance teams on improving cash forecast accuracy.
  • Support Corporate Treasury in managing foreign currency risk, including minimizing non-functional currency cash balances and providing inputs for the corporate FX hedging program
  • Support local finance teams in FX spot trading and related currency settlements
  • Assist in financial and management reporting where required.
  • Provide support for the implementation and ongoing maintenance and use of the Treasury Management System (TMS), Kyriba
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and other regulations, including record-keeping and conducting data testing as needed
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA preferred
  • Designation as a Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar field.
  • Preferably someone with experience in working capital management (e.g. Receivables factoring, supplier financing, etc.).
  • Must be a self-starter and have good leadership skills.
  • Should know how to work independently and as part of a global team. 
  • Ability to self-organize workload and adequately prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be attentive to details, resourceful, and self-motivated with the ability to organize workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with treasury management systems (Kyriba preferred), Hyperion, and SAP S/4Hana treasury module will be an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
