Field Service Engineer

Bausch & Lomb is one of the world's largest suppliers of contact lenses, lens care products, pharmaceuticals, intraocular lenses, and other eye surgery products. We have over 12,000 employees and manufactures and markets health care products directly or indirectly in approximately 100 countries. 

KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• To deliver on site technical services and provide application support to customers
• Use diagnostic tools, services aids and product schematics to troubleshoot, test and repair medical equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and any filed corrective actions on installed equipment within the territory
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and provide on-site technical support
• Maintain spare parts inventory and tools validity of use
• Follow Field Service Procedures SOP
• Report field cases with details such as symptoms, diagnose result, correction actions taken etc, to make sure every field issues are documented

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience (preferably in health care industries & eexperience in medical devices a plus)
• Excellent customer service, support and inter-personal skills
• Willing to work overtime in occasion
• Good sense of responsibility and able to complete task in timely and organized manner with self-initiative
