Lead the end-to-end APAC logistics strategy, ensuring compliant, cost-effective, and reliable distribution. Oversee inbound freight, customs, temperature-controlled warehousing, and distribution, while safeguarding product integrity and meeting strict regulatory requirements. Act as the regional authority for logistics excellence, balancing service performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Logistics Strategy

•        Develop & execute strategies to secure capacity, compliance and commercial business requirements throughout the region.

•        Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance delivery performance, reduce costs, and improve product security and traceability.

•        Champion automation and technology to support business efficiency.

•        Develop and improve data analysis to support the overall business by applying innovative technology and IT.

•        Participate actively in all Business Unit S&OP’s and regular Business Reviews of our commercial stakeholders.

Logistics & Freight Operations

•        Manage inbound and outbound freight, customs clearance, and 3PL/4PL providers, ensuring service meets customer expectations.

•        Oversee regional distribution centers (RDCs), local warehouses, and last-mile delivery to patients and customers.

•        Meet financial targets as set in annual plans and regular Forecast review.

•        Lead contingency planning for supply disruptions, customs delays, and geopolitical challenges in the APAC region.

•        Using Operational Excellence tools and methodologies, manage Key Performance Indicators through well-defined targets and goals, implementing corrective actions as required.

•        Monitor the overall Freight market, developments, risks and opportunities.

•        Monitor and follow up on freight service performance. Initiate business review with key partners in the freight network.

•        Manage Value Added Logistics (VAL) services, protect and secure sufficient capacity and maintain cost per pack targets and compliance.

•        Maintain and secure compliance with regards to MDR, GDP, GMP and other regulatory requirements with regards to logistics and packaging.

Logistics Organizational Development

•        Hire, develop and retain logistics talent.

•        Initiate and maintain robust succession planning.

•        Communication using all available channels on performance developments, successes and opportunities to all APAC logistics staff.
