We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our QA Team at our manufacturing site in Hastings.  

 

The role of the Quality Engineer is to: 

  • Provide quality support to all departments  

  • Undertake quality investigations and perform RCCA’s within a highly regulated environment 

  • Undertake routine tasks associated with a QMS  

  • Audits (Internal & Supplier) 

  • Document Reviews and updates 

  • NC & CAPA response and investigation 

  • Support management and quality review meetings 

  • Provide hands-on support for the Inspection of incoming goods 

  • Deputise for the Quality Manager as and when required 

Required Experience: 

  • Formal Quality Assurance qualification, Lead Auditor/Auditor/Six Sigma etc. 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a highly regulated quality environment ( Medical, Aerospace/defence, nuclear, petrochemical or similar.) 

  • Experience in medical device manufacture (Preferred)  

  • Experience of Quality Assurance software (Q-Pulse or similar) (Preferred) 

  • An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practise and engineering 

  • Experience of ISO13485 or ISO9001 Quality procedures  

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement and LEAN manufacturing.
