For our Benelux subsidiary, we are recruiting a Professional Relations Manager Vision Care Benelux.

 PURPOSE OF JOB :

To support market share growth and expansion of our Contact Lens and Lens Care categories by aligning Professional Marketing & Relations strategy and initiatives according to brand & commercial drivelines

To establish and maintain a high standard of professional, industry & media relations; and where applicable consumer communication

To ensure B&L interacts with health care professional with highest integrity, by law and B&L policy to foster a good working relationship through education, research or scientific advancement whilst promoting compliance

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Management of Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and Key Educator (KE) Network

Following Medical Affairs guidance for B&L policy and compliance regulations:

• Define, build and manage a network of Key Opinion Leaders
• Develop relationship and build engagement of the KOL network
• Define, build and manage a network of influential eye care practitioners
• Develop relationship and build engagement of KE network through round table meetings, speaker programs, professional education & training programs and trade media articles.

Eye Care Professional Education

Generic education

In collaboration with Medical Affairs and following Medical Affairs guidance for content and contracts supporting  B&L policy  and compliance regulations, implement ECP educational initiatives aiming to teach contact lens science with the goal of advancing vision and eye health care and safety :

Product and business education

• Provide on-site technical training to ECP on Bausch + Lomb products.
• Carry out field tours in pairs to provide technical support to Territorial Managers (TMs).
• Assist TMs in the facilitation of scientific meetings for ECP.
• New TMs: provide initial training, ongoing training and onboarding.

Customer Engagement and Peer-to-Peer Programs

Product life cycle management

Professional Organisation and Customer Relations

Media Relationships, PR and Publications

Congresses and Seminars

Product Education, Technical Training, Communication and Promotional Material (internal)

Professional Support

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING :

• Educated to degree level
• Optometrist, optician, or other optical qualification
• In-practice experience with proven contact lens interest and expertise
• Able to travel within the as required
• Native Dutch/Flemish
• Fluent in French would be highly appreciated
• Excellent writing & communication skills and strong competency in English (verbal & written)
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and commercial people at all levels, including major customers
