Position Summary

The Marketing Manager – Rx is responsible for the execution of brand strategy, in‑market excellence, and commercial performance of Bausch + Lomb Rx brands in Canada. This role reports to the Marketing Director RX Canada, works cross‑functionally to translate strategy into effective, compliant marketing programs that drive customer engagement, brand growth, and business results in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The Marketing Manager will partner closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain, and external agencies to deliver high‑impact initiatives across the brand lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of annual brand plans aligned with strategic objectives, customer needs, and financial targets.
  • Identify and assess market opportunities, support brand strategy and go‑to‑market planning, and monitor market trends to drive business growth.
  • Lead in‑market execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring excellence across promotional materials, campaigns, and programs in compliance with Canadian regulatory and PAAB requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to ensure alignment on strategy, messaging, and flawless field execution.
  • Translate brand, HCP, patient, and market insights into actionable, innovative marketing programs that drive brand growth.
  • Develop and execute educational initiatives, including programs, seminars, and training, to advance disease‑state and brand knowledge among healthcare professionals and the sales force.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply alignment for assigned brands.

 

Education & Experience

  • University degree required; MBA or advanced degree considered an asset.
  • 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing in a Product or Marketing Manager role.
  • Sales experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is an asset.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially: PowerPoint, Excel, Word); strong presentation skills required.
    • High level of initiative, accountability, and resilience.

 

For Canada locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $100,000.00 and $130,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors
