Estamos buscando um novo Business Unit Lead para a nossa divisão Pharma & Consumer.
Mission of this role
Lead the full P&L, strategy, and execution of Bausch + Lomb’s Pharma and Consumer ophthalmology business in Brazil, accelerating a business with significant untapped potential, driving sustainable growth, and positioning Bausch + Lomb as a leading player in the Brazilian ophthalmology market.
The role combines commercial leadership, strategic development, launch excellence, and organizational capability building, with direct accountability for delivering business performance and shaping the future growth of the organization.
Main responsibilities
Business Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Lead full ownership of revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
- Drive P&L performance through disciplined management of revenue, Gross-to-Net investments, and cost structure, ensuring delivery of Net Sales and Commercial EBITDA in line with agreed targets.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, including the S&OP.
- Drive identification and capture of growth opportunities across the portfolio, maximizing value creation.
Commercial Excellence & Field Force Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial organization, including medical representatives, sales managers and marketing teams.
- Drive optimization of field force productivity, targeting, and execution, ensuring best-in-class commercial effectiveness.
- Lead preparation of the organization for future expansion aligned with upcoming product launches and growth plans.
Launch Excellence & Portfolio Growth
- Lead the successful launch and scale-up of a high-impact innovation pipeline, expected to be a key driver of growth over the coming years.
- Ensure strong launch readiness and execution involving internal functions, ensuring implementation, maximizing early adoption and long-term performance.
- Drive maximization of the performance of the existing portfolio, with a strong focus on core categories such as dry eye and prescription products.
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Lead identification and execution of strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, co-marketing agreements, licensing, and acquisitions to expand market presence.
- Drive the expansion of the business in Brazil by effectively leveraging innovation, investment, and best-in-class execution.
Market Leadership & Customer Engagement
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships across key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and commercial partners (wholesalers, pharmacy chains, and distributors).
- Lead development of strong internal partnerships, effectively representing and advocating for Brazil’s strategic priorities with regional and global leadership teams.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build and lead a high-performance, execution-focused organization, attracting and developing top talent.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence, ensuring strong engagement and continuous capability development.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
- Solid experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with strong commercial leadership exposure.
- Proven experience managing field forces and leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated track record in P&L management, product launches, and business growth.
- Experience in ophthalmology or adjacent therapeutic areas is highly desirable.
- Advanced English required.
- Proficiency in Spanish is desirable
